Quarto. 338 (2)pp. Original pictorial dustjacket over orange cloth with gilt lettering on spine. Monograph of the Royal Porcelain Manufactory in Berlin with emphasis on its production of Art Nouveau. Illustrated with numerous color and b/w photographs. Catalog of the complete production in the years from 1896 to 1914, including a list of all products with drawing of object and artist name. A separate chapter provides short biographies of all artists involved in the manufactory during this time. In addition a comparative study of other porcelain manufacturers is offered including technical novelties important for the development of the new style. Text in German.
