First U.K. edition. The book is firmly bound in green cloth lettered in red, the extremities are a little bumped and rubbed, there is a short tear to the cloth at the top of the spine and some fading to the cloth, possibly caused by exposure to damp conditions. The text block is slightly toned, foxed and dusty. The dust jacket is the original, it is slightly marked, grubby and rubbed with some minor chips and short closed tears to the edges. An uncommon romance, in which a woman scorned in love(by a man named Rodney who has just passed his exam to become a chartered accountant) and sacked from her job, decides to take revenge on everyone, adopting a new identity and personality in order to do so.
