First edition hardback, 1897, with no jacket. In overall very good used condition with only minor signs of age, handling and storage -boards slightly faded to spine. Binding tight and appears little read. Internally clean, no annotation - handwritten Sunday School Award inscription to front endpaper dated 1904; slight spotting to page-ends but text and illustrations bright and clear throughout.
