This VG- quality first format book was published in 1917 by The Reilly & Britton Company and is 7-3/4" tall with 287 numbered pages of text. This book--one-piece dark blue binding with all gold lettering--is square, very clean, free of corner bumps and edge dings; the head and heel of the spine are bumped with slight wear and several very short tears but no fraying; the bottom edges have only a slight amount of wear. The spine is moderately soiled and worn but the lettering is quite legible though some of the gold has flaked off. The front panel emblem in red and gold is very clean and intact; but there are several scrapes on the front panel, scrapes that do only visual damage. Except for remnants of a 1-1/2" x 2-1/4" sticker on the front paste down, the interior is completely free of writing, stray marks and page damage of any type; several pages have small stains, mostly in the margins. Both hinges are strong and undamaged; text paper is only very slightly toned and is very flexible and not at all brittle. The frontis + 3 are present and intact.
