Two pages of Further Acknowledgements also reside at the end of the book right before the index. Beautiful tight navy boards, with gilded Title and Author. Front board has tonal "Joyce" on it, with a gilded dot on top of the "y". This book is the first complete biography of James Joyce written since his death. It describes the Joyce of many hats: that of son, lover, husband and father, but also as a writer. An extremely thorough biography of James Joyce, a classic by itself.
