In this delightful comedic tale, two affluent middle-aged businessmen from London find themselves on a hilariously misguided mission imposed by their father: spend their wealth. Their misadventures in attempting to squander their fortunes include ill-fated attempts to support ventures like a musical comedy, an open-air theatre, a new golf club, and various other risky enterprises. The uproarious escapades that unfold as they struggle to lose money are sure to entertain and amuse readers, making this novel a delightful and lighthearted read. The plot is similar to that of Brewster's Millions, and relies on a degree of Wodehousian humour. It was adapted into the 1926 American silent film Millionaires directed by Herman C. Raymaker and starring George Sidney, Louise Fazenda and Vera Gordon. Seller Inventory # 17447
