Folio Society edition, first printing, 1950. First thus. No jacket. Translated in selection by F. L. Lucas. Illustrations engraved on copper by John Buckland-Wright. Grey boards with gold lettering to spine and design in gold to front are only good with a little pushing/bumping to corners, a few small marks, patchy browning (including to spine), patchy fading, the odd small bump/rub to edges, minor foxing and a little wear (pushing/rubbing/bumping) to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Top edge of pages gilt (little scratched). Previous owner's name and date in pen to front end-paper. Pages slightly tanned. Odd small mark/mild foxing to end-papers. Very small crease to top corner of a couple of pages. Odd small mark/spot of foxing to page edges and bottoms. Very occasional small mark/spot of foxing to pages. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted. Seller Inventory # 008841
