Renard's aphorisms, Histoires Naturelles, jotted down after the return from a hunting expedition and illustrated with 23 reproductions of lithographs by Toulouse-Lautrec. Translated into English by T. W. Earp and G. W. Stonier. DJ with light wear along edges, sunned at spine, top and foredge; rubbed with penciled number 59 in upper right corner. Boards with thin, sunned strip at top and bottom, minor bump at bottom of back cover near spine. Light age-toning of block. DJ in overall good, binding and interior in good+ to very good condition.
