The House of the Deer, by D. E. Stevenson, Holt, Rinehart and Winston, New York, 1971 First Edition. 208 pages. Stated first edition. Dust jacket numbered 0171 on front inside flap. Blue cloth hardcover with white leaf-shaped ornamentation on spine and cover, and red stamped lettering on spine. There is some fading on the cover, and a small stain on top front cover. The book body is almost as good as new, no noticeable wear or writing. Dust jacket has wear around edges. The outside of back side of dust jacket has evidence of moisture/dampness. Inside dustjacket has blue areas where book cover has stained dust jacket. Please see photos to confirm condition. Seller Inventory # 6145
