Hill, Oxford. "Platoon Commander", the pseudonymous author too of With My Regiment: from the Aisne to La Bassée (1916), was Arthur Frederick Hobart Mills (1887-1955), a regular officer with the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry; knocked out by shrapnel in August 1914, he documents his medical care.
