Hopalong takes Mesquite Jenkins under his wing, hoping to settle him down, but when Hopalong is shot Mesquite reverts to his old ways to seek vengeance. First Canadian edition in a Doubleday, Page jacket. Lightly bumped and rubbed, hinges a bit loose, with the previous owner's gift inscription on the front end paper. Jacket rubbed with small chips and tears, 1/4" loss to the spine head taking the upper half of "Hopalong," in Brodart. Seller Inventory # 230578
