The copyright page states "Second Edition, January 1939" but Dykes, explains ".but this is the first printed edition as the previous issue [of July 1936] was mimeographed. The 1938 copy of the Catalog for the American Guide Series states, on page 10, "First edition exhausted. Second edition in preparation." Written by the Federal Writers' Project of the Works Progress Administration in South Dakota. An American Guide Series publication. Covers lightly soiled, else fine. Dykes, #312. Near Fine.
