RARE!!! VOUME has Wear and soil to covers, with the Spine Cover being detached at the front and rear edges, the top cord is broken, and there are four ribs on the spine. The volume is 3/4 leather, corners are worn through. All page edges are gild. The index pages are detached but included. Light browning throughout.The volume should be professionally rebound, therefore there has been NO attempt to repair the volume. The volume is 11.5"H x 8.5"W x 4"D at 9 lb., 12.9 oz., prior to packaging. It appears that all illustrations and the frontispiece w/tissue, are present! Definitely printed prior to the automobile era. Scanning through the volume, I did not see any foxing, torn pages. Will ship by Regional Priority Insured, as the additional charges are in the price.
