Published in London in 1810, this is a very early collection of classic Children's Nursery Rhymes, divided into four sections, the collection includes such classics as London Bridge is Falling Down, Little Bo Peep, The Cat and The Fiddle, Song of Sixpence, Bah Bah Black Sheep, Jack A Nory, The Man in the Moon, Jack and Jill, Ride a Cock Horse to Banbury Cross, See-Saw Margery Daw, Little Jack Horner, Goose-A Goose-a gander, One Two Buckle My Shoe, Tom Thumb The Piper?s Son, Dickery, dickery dock, Yankey Doodle Came to Town, Jack Sprat, Humpty Dumpty Sat on a Wall, Pussy Cat Pussy Cat, Old Mother Hubbard, and much more. Bound in what appears to be the original boards with later cloth spine, 46 pages. The book is ex-library with a stamp to reverse of title page, remains of a partially removed bookplate to front pastedown, the front free endpaper has been removed leaving only a quarter of it remaining, old ownership name to title page of a Edward Hawkins, four of the poems have neat manuscript hand corrections in old ink, two of the pages (pictured) have loss at leading edge, this seems to be from the time of the production of the book and does not affect the text in anyway, one page has noticeable creasing, again this seems to be from the time of production, browning to some page edges else in good general condition.
