Dark brown leather on boards. Leather badly rubbed and lacking spine. Boards are loose, but still attached.Internally the book is clean and tidy and secure, but lacking the fold out map. A reading copy only, or perhaps a candidate for a re-bind. Illustrated with monochrome plates by Muirhead Bone, plus many further line drawings within the text. An interesting and scarce item.
