Nice copy of the first edition, first state of this book, in which the main character is called Kathe, changed to Karin in later printings. There is a bit of toning/shelf wear to the outer edges of the text block but otherwise nice & clean. No signatures or other signs of ownership. D/W has very slight wear to corners & faint signs of handling to rear panel. Includes a newspaper cutting of A. N.
