Gipsy Ballads is Michael Hartnett's version of "Romancero Gitano" (1924-1927) by Federico Garcia Lorca. Extremely rare copy ex-lib. of this wonderful work which has never received the recognition it deserves. Hartnett went on to concentrate his talents on interpretations of the great Gaelic poets of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Book is in very good condition with indications of its previous life evident on the front free endpaper and on the publication page. Collector's Item. Seller Inventory # 523
