Excellent copy of J. P. Donleavy s classic debut novel, published in 1955 by the legendary Olympia Press. Issued in this format, the book appeared alongside the mostly pornographic novels of the Traveller s Companion series, much to the author s chagrin, who had intended the book as a serious if somewhat debauched work of art.
