First edition, no dust wrapper. Ex-library. Blue boards with black lettering on the spine. Edges of boards are moderately thumbed and rubbed, with the occasional scuff mark on front, back and spine. Head and tail of spine bumped, head corners also bumped bear some wear and tear. Binding is strong and tidy. Spine sunned. Free endpapers, pastedowns, title pages and most pages throughout bear some discolouration and foxing. Title pages and the occasional page bear some decent foxing. Library stamps and inscription upon front free endpaper: "Eileen McCarthy Lending Library", this also appears on half-title page. Hand written library inscriptions and the odd library stamp appear throughout the book. Page edges are moderately discoloured, particularly at the head edge. Otherwise this book is in fair condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously; they usually present better than they sound. Seller Inventory # FIC1409
