This stated first edition Fine quality book was published by Pantheon in 1981. It is square, extremely clean, free of corner bumps and edge dings; the head and heel of the spine have been very lightly bumped, but with no damage to the binding. Bottom edges and lower corners have practically no wear. With the exception of a name/address/date inked on top of the half title page, the interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and paper damage of any type. The hinges are tight, strong and completely undamaged. It is not a remaindered copy, a book club copy or an ex-library book.
