Illustrated with eight plates, and numerous reproductions of woodcuts. Finely printed on paper watermarked: Arnold Linen Fibre Unbleached. Vellum spine and sides with titling gilt on spine, gray paper-covered boards with blindstamped Caxton Club device on the front & back covers. Vellum spine shows a few tiny spots. Former owner's bookplate on reverse of the first blank flyleaf: "Ben D. Zevin Cleveland From his Library of Books about Books" [World Publishing, Cleveland Ohio].
