As a Jesuit , he taught humanities at Nevers, at the Collège du Mont in Caen, and at the Collège de La Flèche. After the dissolution of the Jesuit society, he was recommended by the writer Fréron to the Elector Palatine. Frontispiece and 15 engraved plates by Egid Verhelst.
