This is a VERY rare Australian writer and book is tight, free of tears or flaws and has NO marks of any kind. There is wear to the spine ends and corners but otherwise usual toning or mild foxing around the color plates and scattered in book. No odors and nothing really annoying. This is legendary for Ruth Bedford's poetry for small children which is marvelous, touching, never really 'cloying' and one of the great books of children's poetry and so a MUST HAVE for Australian literary collections and collections of women's writers.
