This copy is number 713 of 1500 numbered copies of the first edition, specially bound in dark olive calf gilt, top edges gilt. pp xxi, 692 and xii, 695; extensive index and 160 full-page illustrations and numerous maps. Extremities somewhat rubbed but the volumes in good to very good condition. NOTE that the two volumes weigh 1,670g and 1,616g respectively and therefore the postage cost will be higher than the default amount [which has to be] shown but this can be notified to you before you confirm the order.
