Limited to 370 copies of which 350 for sale, this No. 124. ppVIII,37,(3) with title-page vignette and in-text line illustrations & decorations. Original shocking pink cloth, backstrip titled in gilt, covers with dense geometrical pattern in red. Backstrip faded (almost to off-white close to head and foot) and gilt dulled; uppermost 2" (5cm) also a little marked close to front hinge. Front hinge with split from head of length just over ½" (1.5cm). Upper and lower cover edges faded, lower edges also lightly shelf-rubbed. Upper outer corner of rear cover lightly bumped, tips of outer corners of both front and rear slightly rubbed. Pastedown sides of flyleaves at both front and rear faintly toned & spotted where no contact with dust jacket flaps. Edges of text-block faintly toned, top edge also faintly dust-marked. Blue dust jacket titled in black at backstrip panel and on blue paper label on front panel, front and rear panels with pattern in black identical to that on covers; with a number of flaws - backstrip panel patchily faded & toned, with loss of up to ½" (less than 1.5cm) at both head and foot, and with dark spot-stain & speck towards head / front and rear panels a little faded towards edges, chipped with a little loss at inner corners and upper outer corners, and slightly rubbed and a little nicked at lower outer corners / both front and rear flaps spotted.
