Written during a critical period of his life, this is a vast and all-encompassing work of non-fiction into which Kerouac poured his life, incorporating poems, haiku, prayers, journal entries, meditations, fragments of letters, ideas about writing, overheard conversations, sketches, blues and more. In near fine condition, the binding is straight and tight, the boards clean and the lettering on the spine bright. The end papers and pages are free from tears and inscriptions. There is foxing to the top edge and minimal foxing to the fore edge. There is a faint mark to the edge of the rear paper. The dust jacket, protected in a clear, removable cover is in near fine condition with no issues. Will be dispatched carefully wrapped in bubblewrap and a cardboard box. Seller Inventory # 03527
