Browne ("Phiz"). Full polished calf binding by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, with morocco spine labels, decorative gilt stamping, five raised bands, ornamental dentelles, new endpapers, and a ribbon marker. The bookplate of California banker and philanthropist Paul Rodman Mabury appears on the front pastedown. Light foxing and toning to a few of the plates; overall, the contents are fairly fresh.
