Front and rear wrapper illustration by S. B. Jones. Rear wrapper shows a "Cluedo-style" labelled layout of "Synchro" offices with a key to the map of central New York illustrated between the Hudson river and East river. ***Very good in colour-illustrated wrappers very slightly rubbed at edges. All edges of text-block stained green (as called for). Tiny light crease to bottom corner of front wrapper and tiny light crease to top corner of rear wrapper. No tears. Slightest hint of a very light reading crease to spine. Spine tight. Pages very slightly browned. No inscriptions. No fading. Wrappers bright. ***161mm x 108mm. 192 pages. ***'Whose hand held the knife? Only the smiling pin-up and the dead art director had seen the killer.' ***'RED murder - BLUE murder - YELLOW murder - When would BLACK DEATH strike to bring about "DEATH IN FOUR COLORS"?.'
