Kamp, a review copy with publisher's review slip laid in at front of book. Featuring 'the amiable Dr. Fabian Honeychurch and the distinctly waspish Inspector Burnivel of Scotland Yard'. First Edition, verso of title page states 'Copyright, 1954' with no further printings listed. Published in England by Hammond, London in 1956. Sidney Hobson Courtier (1904-1974), Australian born author and teacher. -- References: Reilly,Twentieth-Century Crime and Mystery Writers (1980), 422. -- Octavo (book size 19.4x13.3cm), pp. [6] 244 [4]. In publishers black paper covered boards, spine lettered in green and white and with white outline of man in hat, all edges trimmed. Dust jacket priced '$2.50' to upper corner of front flap. --.
