Seller: Forgotten Books, London, United Kingdom
Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book celebrates the often overlooked pleasures of catching coarse fish. It delves into the art of coaxing these sometimes-disparaged species from the water, challenging the notion that only trout and salmon deserve an angler's attention. The author argues that a complete angler embraces the variety and depth of all forms of fishing, from the subtle dance of a bobbing oat to the thrill of a powerful pike. He reminds us that coarse fishing holds its own unique appeal, offering challenges and rewards that can be just as enriching as those found in more celebrated types of angling. Throughout the book, the author offers practical advice on gear and methods, but also encourages a deeper appreciation for the nuances of each species, the beauty of the natural world, and the rich history of angling itself. This book is a passionate reminder that the true joy of fishing lies not in the pursuit of one particular fish, but in the appreciation of the sport's diverse tapestry. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item. Seller Inventory # 9781330252154_0
