Decorative light blue cloth with mounted cover illustration. 8vo. 254pp plus 4pp ads. First Paul Bransom illustrated edition with 16 full-page color plates and other color and black & white illustrations in the text. A very good copy with some light wear to the spine tips and cover edges. There is some rubbing to the front cover decoration and to the mounted cover plate and some light soiling to the rear cover. The text and plates are very good with some scattered light foxing and spotting. The contents pages and first few plates are lightly edge-chipped. There is an ink name on the flyleaf but no other markings to the text. The bindings is tight and sound. Scarce. Seller Inventory # 11895
