The other volumes have some wear on the hinges and are solid, the boards are lightly rubbed with some small scrapes mainly on the edges and corners to varying degrees. Vol`s 1 & 2 boards are faded while the others are bright. Some shelf wear and tiny chips on the bevelled edges and most of the corners are chipped and bumped. All the spines are rubbed, vol.1 & 2 are lightly chipped on the top & bottom and vol. 2 has a small close tear below the second band. Vol.1 & 2 have previous owner`s name written on the fly leaves while the other volumes have Armorial bookplates on the pastedowns. All the books have some offsetting that affect the pages behind the plates as all the plates come with their guard sheets to the fore.
