Head and tail of spine and board edges are rubbed. Corners of boards are bumped. Binding is neat and strong. Page edges are lightly discoloured and thumbed. Previous book seller's stamp is on front pastedown endpaper. Free endpapers and few other pages throughout book (especially towards the front and back) are foxed and discoloured, and some pages contain minor stains. Edges are foxed and stained. Else book is in good condition. Dust wrapper is showing some wear and tear. Edges are well thumbed and creased. Contains many tears, particularly towards edges, one as large as 5cm, but these have been mended with tape. Dust wrapper appears scratched, worn and dirty, with small fragments missing from head and tail of spine. Else in fair condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously but they usually present better than they sound. The dustwrapper is covered in archival plastic.
