About this Item
2nd Imp of the 1st Edition 1937. Two long inscriptions to end paper by Richard Williamson about receiving the book from naturalist Peter Gay. This was Peters Gay's copy with his name to the end paper. From a large collection of Henry Williamson's and his family's books. Includes a specially commissioned small bookplate affixed inside the book confirming this. Illustrated with colour and black/white plates. Book is fair with quite lightened area to boards. Contents good. The wrapper is good++ and bright. Edges quite rubbed and nicked. Wrapper age toned in places. The wrapper rear has extensive repair with archival tape. All overseas orders with priority shipping (8 days+) will be sent by either tracked airsure or international signed for. The slower postal rates (14 days +) will be sent by standard airmail and will take longer to arrive.
