Sigh. What's a poor bookseller to do? This is a fairly nice copy of this humorous novel from the 50s. The jacket's unclipped, and shows slight edge-wear; it's browned inside, which is common with this title. There's a previous owner's initials on the front free endpaper. But it's misbound. The title on the spine of the book runs over onto the front cover -- it's about 3 millimeters off -- and it's that kind of defect that I find just incredibly annoying. It's not big enough to be a Collectible Misbound State, and it's not small enough for me to ignore it. I hope someone else will think this little orphan oddity is worth a place in their collection.
