Good solid first edition hardcover in illustrated red cloth covered boards showing a man riding a fox hunter splashing into a stream while a lady aside follows in the distance. Decorated spine cloth shows a man on the ground as his horse gallops away. This is author/horseman/sportsman J. Stanley Reeve's own copy with his armorial bookplate on frt pastedown. Book shows color bleed at foor of frt cover/text on preliminaries, foxing on pages throughout but not heavy enough to obscure any reading and there is no musty smell. A hilarious romp in the hunting field with 8 full color plates by G. D. Giles and a multitude of line drawings throughout by G. D. Giles and J. Sturgess. Seller Inventory # 48553
