Published in London in 1853, this is the First Edition of ?Bleak House? by Charles Dickens, bound in red cloth titled in gilt, just under 9 inches tall, 624 pages with illustrations by H. K. Browne. The cloth is noticeably marked and is not stuck down fully on back board and lifts when book is opened, fraying to cloth at spine ends, the usual foxing and occasional offsetting to some of the plates, most plates have foxing to them, marks to a few text pages else in good general condition.
