Octavo, 218 pages. In Good condition with a Good dust jacket. Spine beige with black lettering. Dust jacket protected with a mylar covering. Mild age toning exteriorly with ex-library sticker residue to lower spine and closed tear to rear head edge and few smaller chips to the edges. Boards have cocked slightly with lightly sunned spine, tape remnants to rear tail edge and light soiling. Text block has red colored head edge and stamped ex-library name with mild age toning to the fore and tail edges, several instances of ex-library markings interiorly. Author's second book. Soundly bound and unmarked in original boldly graphic title lettered dust jacket with publisher's $4.95 issue price intct to unclipped front flap. Full red cloth lettered in gilt at spine; spine slightly shelf cocked. Publisher's red top stain a little dimmed and faded; small remainder mark bottom edge. Dust jacket toned at spine, less so to cover panels. Jacket shelf rubbed with several short closed tears at edges. A prior owner or dealer has mended tow of the longer tears with archival paper tape on the reverse surface of the jacket. Jacket flaps are toned. Doctorow disallowed republication and this book is his hardest to find in the markjet. This copy flawed but still decent. VG-/G++. Seller Inventory # 53618
