FIRST EDITION. Heavy, landscape format quarto; black cloth boards with silver gilt details to spine. A few very minor marks to upper board, otherwise bright, clean and square. Some minimal marks to page block edges, but predominantly bright and clean. Black eps, 200pp with 84 full page mainly colour reproductions recto, details on facing pages throughout. Additional text with smaller b/w drawings/prints, and an acknowledgement of the extensive range of lendings here from principally U.K. and American sources. To accompany an impressive exhibition shown in New York, Pittsburgh and Baltimore in 1990. Contents tight, bright and clean, with no additional markings or inscriptions. The very large dustwrapper is uncut, undamaged, bright and clean, with a few small marks to white rear panel and some minimal edge creases (VG+). A nice copy. PLEASE SEE FIVE ACCOMPANYING IMAGES. Now protected with clear, removable sleeve.
