Title page + blank + v, vi + 76 pages + 320 plates. Original large folio hardback binding poor, with rubbing,tears, spine loss top. Contents mostly very good, clean & tight. Lacks front endpage, 2 pages with top edge damage, a few corner tip folds, some very minor marks, some pages at front loose, becoming detached as was stored for poss over 50 years until now, and more may become detached as looks like glue used at spine is past its usefulness. But almost all plates very good & clean, see all scans. plates include 151 furniture, 84 fabrics, 47 house decoration, 33 floor cloths inc. carpets & table covers, 5 floor cloths & table covers). Last 5 plates not listed in contents. Pages exactly the same as 2 books visible on net and state undated, but date as 1879, so apart from front end page seems complete. Furniture and house decoration especially includes some iconic Very ornate, Gothic & Arts & Crafts designs that are used as source by top auction houses. Most importantly the details of some items with the designer & maker given, like the arts & crafts dresser we have illustrated with details including designed by Talbot & made by Holland & Son., etc. Though title page undated, most institutional inc.
