About this Item
The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz by Mordecai Richler, Hardcover, First US Edition (1959). Book in very good condition, in a similar unclipped dust jacket. The book shows minor bumping to the spine ends, and ageing to the page edges. The dust jacket shows general wear and ageing, including internally, with sun-fading to the spine. It also has a few nicks, closed tears and minor losses. Overall a very good copy of a book of this age. (See pictures). This is a satirical novel sent mostly in poor districts of Montreal, by this Canadian author. It was adapted to the screen in a 1974 Canadian comedy-drama directed by Ted Kotcheff and starring Richard Dreyfuss. Seller Inventory # 001231
