Size of binding: 6 ½ in. x 8 ¼ in. original photo-illustrated paper card wrappers (cover), processed as a one-piece fold-out, after the first front end-paper; 170+ pp. + colophon. Illustrated with 8 black & white photographic reproductions of Brassai photographs. In a "revorim prototype" binding by Jean De Gonet, with his signed, & partly printed label at lower left of front paste down: [signed] J. de Gonet no 44/200. Spine features fine grained, gray leather with title stamped horizontally in small black letters in central area, two "open" bands cut out of the leather, to expose the structure of thick, black sewing thread & red cloth sewing backing, or bands, these bands tie into the pressed "revorim" covers which are of a matte black plastic-like material, heavily & deeply blind-stamped with parallel, geometric bands of circles, squares, larger or smaller, diced square backgrounds, raised surfaces or areas, & various deep blind or red stamping, reading: De Gonet Revorim Prototype. Artefacts De Gonet; black end-papers. In fine condition. Only 175 copies of this book were printed; the de Gonet "revorim prototype" binding edition was 200, these were done on several titles.
