Not dated, approx 1880, assumed 1st edition. Good/None. Cream silk covered padded boards with later ribbon reinforcement round the edges and round the spine, presumably added to stop the silk deteriorating, minor soiling to boards but otherwise good. Contents clean and tight but for very slight soiling/wear. Decorative endpapers, pages edged in gold. A lavish little volume of brief passages concerning angels or attributed to angels, printed in gold in beautiful script. Each page is surrounded by a gold floral border. 10 beautiful colour illustrations of angels, rather like an illuminated manuscript with gold detailing. Very scarce. Seller Inventory # 007335
