This is volume in the publisher's 'A.B.C.' series of instructional books for the pocket, each written by a specialist on the subject concerned. The author of this volume on golf, A.J. Robertson, was the author of several books on golf and editor of Golf magazine until his retirement in 1898. The book is bound in the original red cloth covered boards with worn white titling on the spine and white titling with three small illustrations on the front board. The case of the book is in very good condition with shelf wear and some soiling and staining on the boards. The spine is faded and the titling on the spine is very worn and is now indistinct. The spine ends are bumped with a little bit of damage to the cloth on the spine corners. The contents are tight and clean with light foxing on the first few pages, including some marks on the title-page. There is no inscription. Seller Inventory # gGolf24
