About this Item
"who came up to London to enjoy themselves and to see the great exhibition". Half bound in black leather and marbled boards, worn at edges and ends of spine, spine creased and slightly faded. The plates have all been carefully repaired, a long time ago, most by using the borders of the sheets of Penny Red 1d stamps. The plates seem to have been trimmed to fit, the Manchester in 1851 plate having lost its title. Text is generally clean and firm with little ageing but finger marks in places. . 242 pps.
