Frontispiece illustrated by G. W. Goss with 2 chldren playing Robinson Crusoe "Who Goes There?" Delightful short stories etc for small children. Authors include Jessie Pope, Natalie Joan, Christine Chaundler and many others. Artists include Margaret and Percy Tarrant, Anne Anderson, Nina K. Brisley and others. Blue cloth spine with Black Lettering, Illustrated with a little girl reading. Paper covered Boards, front illustrated with a little Boy and Girls in a wood watching Fairies dance around them, Gilt border & Yellow Title. Gilt classical decoration to rear cover. Endpaper have comical illustration of people Punting on a river. Half title page illustrated with a boy chasing a Fairy and Girls speaking to fairy at a little house. Lovely picture of "Wee Willie Winkie" on the back. Title Page illustrated with a Golly and a Toy Horse. First story is "The Magic Knocker". 264 Pages. 10" Tall. Slight edge wear & 2 very fine scratches on front. No inscriptions. A few tiny spots of foxing on half-title page and a little patch of very light browning in top corner of frontis and title page.
