Green cloth boards with minor rubbing/bumping to edges/spine, spine faded, patchy fading to front & back, minor scuffing. Contents fair with minor soiling/browning, some spotting mainly to page edges. 48 lovely colour plates. A guide book to the flowers of the fields, lanes and woods.

Condition: Good. No edition remarks. 284 pages. No dust jacket. Pictorial cloth covered boards. Colour plates. Pages with some foxing and tanning, particularly to endpapers and textblock edges. Binding remains firm. A previous owner's name to front free endpaper. Boards have moderate shelf wear with some rubbing, fraying and corner bumping. Some moderate sunning and tanning, particularly to spine. Gilt lettering to spine is dulled but remains brighter on front.

Hardcover. Condition: Fair. Ex- Library Book. The brown boards are heavily rubbed with small black spot to front and small markings to back, with bumping to the edges, heavy wear to corners showing board, spine is creased with fading. Tanning to page edges, Library sticker, stamps and labels as expected, Pages are tanning with some small rips and chips to corners, plates have some small rips and pencil marks throughout, plate XXVIII loose. The binding is secure. The pages otherwise appear clean with heavy tanning. This book has 284 pages. All in all a nice example of this book.
