Although before the war Lindbergh sought to keep America out of a conflict, however, once the country was attacked he worked for the war effort to include the testing of such planes and the corsair. Interior is also v clean and unmarked except for prior owners name on half title page. End paper maps are well preserved, as are 76 photographs. Book is very heavy and nearly four inches thick.
