Condition: Fair. 1927. First Edition. 206 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth. Black and white and colour illustrations throughout. Prize plate and gift sticker stuck to front free endpaper. Binding remains firm. Pages and illustrations have light tanning and foxing throughout. Previous owner's inscriptions to front free endpaper. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Moderate tanning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Water staining to front board.

There is some spotting and sunning of the bindingand some foxing to the preliminary pages and the edges of the text block; overall, this book is i n good condition.
