Hardcover. Condition: Very Good Plus. First Edition. 1931. Limited edition no.38 of 75 copies - signed and numbered by the author. 48pp. Poems in Scots and English. Marion Emily Angus (1865-1946), a Scottish poet who wrote in the Scots vernacular or Braid Scots. She is seen as a forerunner of a Scottish renaissance in inter-war poetry, as her verse marked a departure from the Lallans tradition of Robert Burns in a direction similar to that of Hugh MacDiarmid, Violet Jacob and others. The book is bound in the original turquoise cloth covered boards with gilt titling to the spine. The case of the book is in excellent condition. The contents are clean with no inscriptions. Signed by the author.
